Preventative Maintenance Programs

A well executed preventative maintenance program is the single most effective way to protect your fleet investment and reduce total operating costs. At Quality Fleet Maintenance, we work with fleet managers to design customized PM schedules based on mileage, engine hours, operating conditions, and manufacturer recommendations.

Our preventative maintenance services include engine oil and filter changes, transmission fluid and differential service, coolant system inspection and flush, belt and hose condition checks, brake lining measurements, tire rotation and inflation checks, battery load testing, and a comprehensive multi-point vehicle inspection.

Fleet vehicles are normally operating harder than average which makes consistent preventative maintenance even more critical. Our PM clients consistently report fewer roadside breakdowns, lower repair costs over time, and greater confidence in their fleets reliability.

DOT Inspections & Compliance Services

Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations require that commercial motor vehicles operating in interstate commerce receive annual inspections performed by qualified inspectors. Failure to maintain compliance can result in out-of-service orders, significant fines, increased CSA (compliance, Safety, Accountability) scores and, most critically, unsafe vehicles on the road.

Quality Fleet Maintenance provides all levels of DOT vehicle inspections with our technicians covering every point of the federal inspection list: brake systems, steering and suspension, lighting and electrical systems, tires and wheels, fuel systems, coupling devices, emergency equipment, and driver documentation review. We perform thorough pre-inspection assessments to identify any deficiencies before your official inspection date, helping you avoid surprise failures and the cost of rescheduling.

After every inspection, we provide complete documentation suitable for your FMSCA compliance files. Whether you're preparing for a roadside check, a compliance audit, or simply maintaining your annual inspection record, Quality Fleet Maintenance has the expertise and certification to keep your fleet road-legal and your CSA score clean.

Brake System Service & Repair

Brake failure is one of the leading causes of commercial vehicle accidents among the most cited deficiencies in DOT roadside inspections. At Quality Fleet Maintenance, brake system service is treated as a safety-critical priority. Our technicians are trained in both hydraulic disc and drum brake systems found on lighter commercial vehicles and the air brake systems standard on class 7-8 heavy-duty trucks.

Our brake services include complete brake system inspection, brake pad and rotor replacement, brake adjustment and slack adjuster service, air brake system inspection and repair, brake hose and line inspection, and ABS system diagnostics. We document all brake measurements as part of our inspection process, giving you a clear record of component condition at every service visit.

If your vehicles and approaching DOT inspection and your concerned about brake compliance, our pre-inspection brake check can identify and correct any issues before they become violations.

Diesel Engine Diagnostics & Repair

Modern diesel engines are sophisticated systems that require both advanced diagnostic equipment and experienced hands-on expertise. Our technicians are trained in computer-based diagnostic procedures and use professional-grade scan tools to read and interpret fault codes across major diesel engine platforms, including Cummins, Navistar (International), Detroit Diesel, and Duramax, as well as common commercial van powertrains.

Beyond fault code diagnostics, we perform fuel system service (fuel filter replacement, injector diagnostics, high-pressure common rail system inspection), turbocharger inspection and replacement, EGR system service, DPF (diesel particulate filter) inspection and cleaning, cooling system service, and engine oil analysis recommendations. We address both drivability concerns and emissions compliance issues that could affect your vehicle's DOT standing.
